Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 August 2026. By using this site and placing an order, you agree to these terms.
About us
Rida From Madinah is operated by Maria Iqbal, a sole trader trading as "Rida From Madinah", of 34 Davidson Way, Livingston, EH54 8HQ, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). We sell modest luxury and everyday abayas, handcrafted in Madinah. Prices are displayed in GBP, USD, EUR, or SAR depending on your location, and are converted from our base pricing at current exchange rates.
How a contract is formed
Placing an order and receiving an on-screen or emailed order confirmation does not mean we have accepted your order — it confirms we've received it. A binding contract of sale is formed only when we dispatch your order, or tell you it has been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — for example due to a pricing or listing error, suspected fraud, or the item being unexpectedly out of stock — and if that happens, you will be refunded in full.
Pricing and payment
Checkout is processed securely through Stripe. Payment is taken at the time of order. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but if a pricing error is discovered before dispatch, we will contact you before proceeding.
Your right to cancel (UK and EU customers)
If you are a consumer ordering from the UK or EU, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you a legal right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your goods, and a further 14 days to send the goods back once you've told us you're cancelling. This is separate from, and in addition to, our own returns policy. Full detail on how to exercise this right is on our Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
Delivery, risk, and ownership
Estimated delivery times are set out on our Shipping & Returns page and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we've received payment in full.
Product descriptions and your statutory rights
We aim to describe and photograph every piece as accurately as possible. Fabric colour may vary slightly depending on your screen. Please refer to the size guide on each product page before ordering. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. If an item arrives faulty or not as described, contact us and we will put it right, in line with your legal rights.
Intellectual property
All site content, including photography, text, and design, is the property of Rida and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of liability
We don't exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or our products.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform our obligations if caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, customs delays, or courier disruption.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK you live in. We aim to resolve any complaint directly — contact us first at concierge@ridafromadina.com.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force at the time you order applies to that order.
